Value Chain Metrics: Theory and Practice - Two Part Series

Presented Live over the Web
Mark Chockalingam, Ph. D.
Next session: TBD

In this program

Is your organization using a balanced set of holistic metrics to measure the performance of your value chain?  what are these metrics that enable a fuller functioning of your organization?

In this two-part workshop, you will gain powerful insight into the ins and outs of calculating and using Balanced Metrics in the value chain.

The element of human bias is inevitable in any organizational activity. What keeps this bias in check are proper measurement techniques combined with appropriate incentive mechanisms. It is not only important to measure the right areas, but also to define the measures correctly.

In part two of the workshop, we will focus on using metrics to improve demand forecasting with specific reference to SAP APO DP.  APO DP defines performance metrics some what differently.  We will show you how to use these metrics as model diagnostics as well as to measure forecast quality.

Module 1 - Value Chain Metrics: Understanding demand, service, inventory and execution metrics

Module 2 - Demand Metrics in SAP APO DP: Understanding and Leveraging the complexity of SAP APO calculations
