Position
Purpose
The
Replenishment/Fulfillment
Planning
Consultant
will
assist
a
multi-distribution
center,
multi-channel
retailer
and
distributor
of
high
technology
electronics
to
enhance
their
demand
planning
processes
and
to
perform
demand
planning
functions.
Work
as
a
member
of
the
replenishment/fulfillment
planning
team
to
perform
replenishment/fulfillment
planning
functions
and
improve
replenishment/fulfillment
planning
practices.
Collaborate
with
other
team
members
and
management
to
evolve
replenishment/fulfillment
planning
practices
to
improve
fulfillment
rates,
reduce
lost
orders,
and
increase
EBIDTA.
Primary
Duties
and
Responsibilities:
Collaborate
with
teammates
and
managers
to:
•
Understand
business
requirements
related
to
demand
planning
and
fulfillment
planning;
document,
and
analyze
requirements
to
determine
best
appropriate
solutions
for
customer
•
Design,
develop,
and
implement
multi-level
replenishment
plans
•
Develop
and
manage
finished
goods
allocation
and
fulfillment
plans
•
Use
demand
forecasts
and
replenishment
plans
to
optimize
purchases
and
forward
buying
agreements
•
Drive
to
achieve
consensus
on
fulfillment
and
replenishment
plans
•
Enhance
and
institutionalize
replenishment/fulfillment
planning
practices
•
Collaborate
with
demand
planning,
fulfillment,
distribution,
and
procurement
organizations
Secondary

Provide
accurate
estimates
of
effort
and
timelines
for
completion
of
assigned
tasks
•
Manage
relationships
with
internal
customers
and
partners
as
well
with
external
partners.
•
Initiate
and
execute
initiatives
to
improve
the
processes,
procedures,
and
tools
utilized
by
the
team.
•
Creates
and
delivers
articulate
and
effective
oral
presentations
to
a
variety
of
audiences,
large
or
small,
internal
or
external.
Position
Requirements
•
2-3
years
consulting
•
5-7
years
of
replenishment/fulfillment
planning
in
CPG
and/or
retail
environments
•
Thoroughly
demonstrated
knowledge
of
the
business
processes
in
the
area
of
replenishment/fulfillment
planning
and
management
•
3-5
years
of
replenishment/fulfillment
planning
using
Manugistics
and/or
JDA
Fulfillment
application
•
Demonstrates
thorough
working
knowledge
to
effectively
manage
time,
prioritize
work,
multi-task
across
many
assignments,
create
deliverables
and
delegate
to
others
as
well
as
monitor
their
work
for
completion
•
Ability
to
assess
the
impact
of
new
processes
on
an
existing
suite
of
processes
and
procedures
•
Technical
writing
skills
producing
clear
and
unambiguous
deliverables
•
Able
to
communicate
effectively
at
all
levels
from
distribution
hourly
workers
to
upper
management
•
Advanced
analytical
skills
and
full
comprehension
of
systems
development/implementation
lifecycle
