Responsibilities:
Drive
the
evolution
of
the
Demand
Planning
(DP)
process
within
multiple
business
units
and
ensure
the
development
of
accurate,
high
quality
forecasts
for
the
individual
Brands.
-
Foster
cross-functional
discussion
around
forecast
inputs
and
initial
forecasts
in
order
to
solicit
functional
knowledge
to
improve
forecast
accuracy.
-
Lead
Demand-Side
conversations
in
S&OP
meetings,
ensuring
strong
participation
from
other
functional
participants.
Act
as
a
liaison
to
the
General
Manager
on
forecast
and
process
questions
and
issues.
-
Approve
the
consensus
Demand
Forecasts
that
will
drive
the
Financial
Forecast
and
S&OP
processes.
-
Drive
the
evolution
of
the
S&OP
process
within
multiple
SBUs
by
integrating
the
Demand
Planning
and
S&OP
Planning
processes.
-
Provide
guidance
to
the
Business
Unit
General
Manager
and
functional
organizations
in
key
DP
and
Demand-Side
S&OP
processes.
Manage
the
integration
of
new
processes,
providing
appropriate
feedback
and
revisions
to
ensure
a
successful
rollout.

Train
and
develop
the
Category
Demand
Planners
and
Demand
Planners.
-
Provide
one-on-one
coaching
and
guidance,
with
attention
on
developing
an
expanded
business
knowledge
base
and
understanding
of
new
and
revised
processes.
Qualifications:
.
-
5-10
years
Demand
Planning
or
relevant
forecast/quantitative
experience
required
.
-
BS/BA
.
-
Experience
in
dealing
with
Senior
Management
on
business
and
functional
issues
.
-
Ability
to
prioritize,
plan,
and
direct
the
efforts
of
others,
including
the
ability
to
delegate
appropriately
and
leverage
individual
areas
of
expertise.
-
Ability
to
quickly
gain
a
basic
understanding
of
a
business;
ability
to
leverage
that
knowledge
in
developing
more
accurate
forecasts,
and
guiding
S&OP
decisions.
-
Ability
to
persuasively
communicate
with
all
levels
of
the
organization
and
to
persuasively
convey
complex
content
in
clear,
concise
language.
-
Working
knowledge
of
time-series
forecasting,
and
the
ability
to
understand
a
range
of
forecasting
approaches.
-
Ability
to
understand
and
respect
alternate
points-of-view
and
facilitate
win-win
solutions
to
problems.
-
Demonstrate
a

approach
to
addressing
problems
and
