This position is responsible for the Sales and Operations Planning process (S&OP) of Global Business Units and areas. The position works closely with demand and supply planners as well as other cross functional team members to insure adequate and high quality data used for the S&OP process. The information is reviewed, thoroughly vetted and consolidated into a format used for each S&OP process. The position is responsible for leading the cross functional/ cross global S&OP review sessions including participation at the Executive S&OP.
Responsibilties:
- Consolidates and prepares data in advance of all S&OP meetings.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the business assumptions package.
- Closely monitors business unit promotions, events and market conditions to ensure accurate S&OP information.
- Creates and enforces the S&OP calendar with key contributors.
- Facilitate/lead the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meeting process, which includes cross functional team members from the Global KCI Organization.
- Coordinates S&OP activities for the assigned business unit to include planning and facilitation of regular pre-S&OP meetings with cross-functional cross-global teams.
- Manage all issues and action items resulting from the S&OP process.
- Manages monthly metrics/results for S&OP team.
- Produces monthly sales forecast accuracy reports, production performance reportsm, and monthly inventory reconciliation reports.
- Manages and reports on finished goods inventory levels worldwide, which includes a monthly reconciliation and plan.
- Applies continuous improvement, six sigma, and analytical techniques to drive global improvement in S&OP and performance.
- Participates on New Product development and other cross-functional teams at a high level.
- Lead special projects as assigned to successful and timely completions.
- Management of the Sales and Operations Planning Calendar.

- Develops ideas for additional strategies and improvement initiatives.
Qualificiations:
- Requires a Bachelors Degree in Business, Statistics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in S&OP, demand planning, or related field. Also requires financial analysis and metrics management experience with S&OP leadership responsibilities.
- Proven track record in running S&OP meetings.
- Excellent analytical skills to quickly analyze, interpret and recommend solutions to key stakeholders.
- High level experience in continuous improvement, six sigma, root cause analysis.
- Strong Project Management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting techniques required.
- Firm grasp of Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Strong computer skills in current software programs, including MS Access Excel, and presentation quality PowerPoint.
- Broad business knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain systems.
- 4+ years management experience.
- APICS certification strongly preferred.
- Oracle experience preferred.
- Financial analysis background.
