Responsibilities:
The Director, Demand Planning - Men's leads the Demand Planning team for the Dockers brand and consumer segment in delivering accurate demand and shipping forecasts and providing meaningful market intelligence to achieve sustainable growth.
- Represent total category demand forecast and formulate resulting
implications to internal partners.
- Lead organization to develop unbiased, independent and accurate
forecasts of unconstrained demand at the product code level over predetermined period of time.
- Drive actionable management decision making.
- Deliver shipping forecast based on constraints.
- Lead collaborative planning effort on key accounts in region.
- Provide quantitative support for development of sales strategies,
promotion and assortment plans.
- Lead creation of bottoms-up account level forecasts.
- Build consensus with cross-functional partners.
- Provide category POV to merchandising for developing assortment
plans.
- Provide forecast with error to supply planning to implement
inventory strategies to achieve service level and inventory targets.
- Provide quantitative analyses and recommendations to support product
lifecycle management decisions.
- Provide proactive and ad hoc quantitative support/analytics.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (10+ years of combined college education and
experience may be substituted for a degree)
- Minimum 7 years proven management experience in planning/forecasting
with increased levels of responsibility
- Experience in leading a department and cross-functional team - sets
clear, compelling and consistent direction
Additional Qualifications:
- Master's degree preferred with Retail or wholesale experience
- Strong project & team management skills - eliminates non-value-added
business activities to improve productivity and profitability
- Works collaboratively across internal and external organizational
boundaries to optimize business outcomes
- Strong financial acumen - eliminates non-value added business
activities to improve productivity and profitability
- Exceptional strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to

- Ability to simplify complex analysis that delivers comprehensive
