Responsibilities:
Work
collaboratively
with
Sales
and
Merchandising
to
develop
and
monitor
forecasts
and
purchase
requisitions
designed
to
meet
the
goals
for
their
assigned
product
categories.
Continuously
monitor
inventory
levels
and
actively
reduce
liability
From
a
process
standpoint,
develop
analytical
reports
and
tools
to
meet
the
needs
of
the
assigned
business
unit.
Track
sales
performance,
inventory,
and
back
orders
to
measure
demand
planning
performance.
Provide
strong
customer
support
to
the
users
of
demand
planning
tools
and
reports,
and
to
work
with
other
stakeholders
to
streamline
processes
and
share
best
practices
to
more
effectively
and
efficiently
provide
demand
planning
service
to
the
business
unit.
Continually
leverage
SAP
AFS
and
BW
capabilities
by
working
with
the
technical
team
to
identify
system
enhancements
and
additional
system
requirements.
Develop
forecasts
and/or
requisitions
for
assigned
product
categories.
Monitor
MRP
and
reorders
to
ensure
on-time
delivery
of
product.
Work
with
Sourcing
to
monitor
product
deliveries
and
ensure
customer
order
fulfillment.
Develop
reports
and
analytical
tools
to
meet
and
prepare
corporate
seasonal
plans.
Develop
reports
and
analytical
tools
to
evaluate
business
unit
performance.
Develop
recommendations
with
regards
to
SKU
rationalization.
Analyze
and
report
seasonal
margin
forecasts
and
profitability.
Establish
and
meet
global
timelines
for
demand
planning
deliverables.
Create
and
report
performance
metrics
for
global
buying
groups.
Implement
best
practices
for
collaborative
statistical
forecasting
processes,
procedures
and
tools.
Develop
system
enhancements
including
SAP,
AFS,
BW
and
forecasting
systems.
Act
as
a
power
user
on
analytical
tools
and
applications.
Qualifications:
.
Bachelor's
degree
is
required.
Minimum
of
3
to
5
years
of
related
analytical
experience
with
the
demonstrated
ability
to
perform
complex
analyses
using
multiple
tools
and
techniques.
Ability
to
develop
databases,
reporting
systems,
and
effective
reporting
formats
and
structures.
Statistical
analysis
and
forecasting
experience.
Strong
communication
and
analytical
skills.
Well
organized,
self
motivated,
adhere
to
deadlines,
and
ability
to
multi-task.
Good
understanding
of
Sales
&
Product
Forecasting,
MRP,
and
Supply
Chain
concepts.
Skills:
Consumer
products
and/or
apparel
experience.
SAP
BW,
SAP
AFS,
and
forecasting
software
experience.
