We are currently working with an 80 year-old Consumer Productions organization that has 50%+ market share in their categories and has held steady throughout the recession. They are known to have the most technologically advanced R&D team in the industry and a culture – like Cheers – where everyone knows your name.

To help ensure success in their supply chain planning transformation, we are looking for a Demand Planner.

Position Description:

• Demand Planner reporting to the Director of Demand Planning;
• Develop and maintain a rolling unit forecast at the SKU level and drive the entire forecast process for a global brand
• Protect the financial performance of the strategic business unit by identifying potential supply chain issues;
• Participate in monthly S&OP meetings with executives;
• Participate in the financial budgeting process;
• Advise sales and marketing of variances between existing forecasts, plans and actuals.

Background Required:

• Highly energetic individuals with 3-5 years supply chain forecasting / demand planning or buying experience;
• Experience with high-volume retail/consumer goods supply chains;
• Strong use of Excel or Access;
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
• Proven track record of success in similar role.

Compensation Plan:

• $60-65k base salary + 15% bonus;
• Full benefit package including medical, dental, disability and 401(k).
