We are currently working with a 100+ year-old, multi-billion dollar manufacturer whose stock is up almost 100% since the recovery. The recession having heightened the importance of forecasting within the organization, we are currently looking for a Demand Planner that is interested in starting immediately as a contractor, with the potential of the role converting to a full-time position within 6-9 months.

Position Description:

• Demand Planner reporting to the Director of Demand Planning
• Develop and maintain a rolling unit forecast at the SKU level and drive the entire forecast for a region
• Leverage technical skills to automate reports that are currently being generated manually
• Protect the financial performance of the strategic business unit by identifying potential supply chain issues
• Participate in monthly S&OP meetings with executives
• Participate in the financial budgeting process
• Advise sales and marketing of variances between existing forecasts, plans and actuals

Background Required:

• Highly energetic individual with 2-5 years supply chain forecasting or demand planning
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong use of Excel and/or Access a must
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Proven track record of success in similar role

Compensation Plan:

• Contract role that will pay commensurate with your experience
