Consumer Products (hard goods) manufacturer known for designing and manufacturing some of the leading brands within its niche;
- Products sold through various channels including high-end department stores, big-box retailers and club stores;
- Manufacturing and distribution locations worldwide.

Principle Accountabilities

- Director of Demand & Supply Planning reporting directly to the SVP of Operations;
- Manage 11 including forecast analysts, buyer/planners, and POS analysts;
- Develop and introduce a new demand planning / forecasting process to help increase forecast accuracy;
- Responsible to manage and reduce inventory using in-stock, fill-rates and inventory on-hand as key metrics;
- Once the process is established, lead the evaluation and implementation of a forecasting application to support the business;
- Leverage strong leadership to build relationships with sales, marketing, sourcing and product development;
- Protect the financial performance of the strategic business unit by identifying potential supply chain issues.

Position Requirements

Qualifications: - Entrepreneurial-spirited manager with 7-10 years demand / supply / inventory experience that’s interested in rolling up their sleeves, building a process and mentoring others;
- Experience working with international suppliers with long lead-times is a must;
- Experience with high-volume retail / consumer goods supply chains;
- Understanding of software applications to support the forecasting process;
- Bachelor’s Degree.
