Plan4Demand, a management and technology consulting firm based in Pittsburgh known for its deep planning expertise, is recruiting an S&OP Service Line Leader. This Service Line Leader will truly “own” his/her respective practice by building, growing, and managing it. This is a leadership and equity position with a comprehensive salary, bonus, commission, and benefits package. Location is open throughout the U.S., but candidates must be willing to travel. Sales & Operations Planning Service Line Leader Criteria: Must have the following experience or demonstrate the ability to meet these requirements


Personal Development
• Requires 7+ years of consulting experience
• Minimum three full life-cycle S&OP implementations completed in the CPG or Life Sciences Industry
• Greenfield development of the S&OP process
• Proven track record in training or seminar leadership development
• Core content area of expertise in either demand or supply management
• Recognized by industry as leader in Sales & Operations Planning
• Shows progressive proof of performance in promotion and increasing responsibility in roles held throughout career path

Business Management-Service Line
• Recognized in consistently closing business opportunities and delivering profitable and referenceable engagements with repeat business in a particular domain/technology area
• Experience in qualifying /closing client opportunities and managing resources
• Experiencing growing a Service Line/Practice –responsible for selection, hiring, mentoring and growing
• Lead the Development of Intellectual Property (IP) for the practice—methodology, go-to-market strategy, service line templates, case studies,
o External IP –whitepapers, case studies, participated in speaking engagements, thought leadership
o Internal IP – methodology, toolkits, training
• Has overall responsibility for S&OP practice and engagements

Client Management
• Builds clients relationships
• Management of project plan, resources, manages client relationships
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously
• Executive presence, proven ability to work with C level executives
• Consistently exceeds clients expectations and creates/identifies pull through/follow-on work
• Manages annual minimum revenue target of $5 million

Business Development
• Manages and leads Service Line opportunity with annual goals of at least $5 million
• Able to properly scope, create SOW, and Program Manage engagements
• Ability to support all pursuit teams as SME in the service line or manage others in service line to do so
• SOW creation and sign-off for up to 200K in services
• Ability to sell a minimum of 250K of services unencumbered through 12/31/08
• Ability to sell a minimum of 500K of services unencumbered in 2009

Knowledge
• Proven subject matter expert in S&OP topics
• CPG or Life Sciences industry experience
• Understands at minimum one S&OP technology
• Plans, manages, and executes complex engagements
• Demonstrates writing and presentation skills for a C-level business audience
• Manages service line resources and assignment
