Principle
Accountabilities
This
position
will
report
to
the
Director
of
Supply
Chain
and
will
be
responsible
for
developing
and
maintaining
accuracy
of
total
demand
for
North
America
in
order
to
enable
sales,
marketing,
manufacturing
and
distribution
to
run
the
business
to
a
consensus
aggregate
forecast.
Specific
responsibilities
include
but
are
not
limited
to:
•
Serve
as
leader
of
North
American
demand
planning
function.
•
Coordinate
demand
planning
activities
with
other
regions
of
the
world.
•
Drive
forecast
unit/dollar
level
improvements.
•
Lead
North
American
demand
element
of
S&OP
process.
•
Coordinate
with
Sales,
Marketing,
Logistics,
Materials
Managers
and
Order
Administration
to
develop
and
refine
demand
plan.
•
Serve
as
supply
chain
liaison
for
all
critical
North
America
demand
change
communications
from
sales/marketing
to
respective
sites.
•
Identify,
understand
and
initiate
processes
that
will
have
global
impact
and
support
global
goals.
•
Readily
adapt
to
changing
priorities
and
multiple
inputs.
•
Establish
and
approve
effective
procedures
to
assure
accurate
forecasts.
•
Collaborate
with
sales,
marketing
operations,
IT,
finance
and
other
functions,
as
required.
•
Establish
best
in
class
metrics
and
monitoring
systems
to
track
progress
against
established
goals.
•
Build
excellent
relationships/partnerships
with
all
functional
areas
to
assure
group
success.

Engineering.
•
7
years
experience
in
a
purchasing/materials
environment.
•
10
years
experience
in
Logistics/Supply
Chain.
Preferred:
•
Materials
Management/Planning
experience
is
an
asset.
•
APICS
and/or
IBF
(Institute
of
Business
Forecasting)
certification
•
MBA
Skills:
